Red Carpet Looks
One thing many of us find pleasurable about red carpet moments and all events that require red carpets is that there are a lot of beautiful things to like, admire and even try to recreate. These beauties range from outfit choices to use of accessories. Our favorite makeup looks are also not left out. At almost every red carpet event, there are makeup looks which captivate and inspire attempts at recreating them.

With the months passing in this year, there have been tonnes of amazing makeup looks at the red carpet. Here are some these looks and how to recreate them.

Try a Taylor Hill Look

At the Golden Globes after party, this Victoria Secret Angel proved that matching the color of eye makeup with the color of lip makeup is not exactly out of vogue. She showed up at the after party with a simple yet bold look by matching her berry colored lips to her eyes.

To recreate this sophisticated yet simple look, get a bold color of lipstick (if you do not want to use the same berry shade as Taylor Hill) for your lips. Put the same product on an eye brush and gently line the upper eyelid and smudge it at the outer corner. Voila! Taylor Hill’s Golden Globe after party makeup look has been recreated.

Pull Off a Lupita Nyong’o

The Premieres of blockbuster movies always offer great red carpet makeup looks to recreate. The London Premiere of Black Panther was no exception. A favorite look from the premiere is Lupita Nyong’o’s. To add more glamour to her shimmering black plunging thigh high split dress, she put on bold metallic grey eye shadow.

This look is quite easy to recreate. Get gunmetal shade of eye shadow. Wet an eye brush using setting spray. Use the wet brush to apply the eye shadow all over the eyelid. This would give you that shiny slick look Lupita had for the Black Panther Premiere in London.

Go Sexy Like Dakota Johnson

Beyond the scenes offered in the Fifty Shades Trilogy, the premiere of Fifty Shades Freed offered more sexiness. The lead actress, Dakota Johnson stayed true to the sexiness of the movie by appearing at the premiere in a hot little red dress matched with classic red lipstick.

To get this simple yet sexy look, ensure that the rest of your makeup is at the bare minimum while drawing eyes to your lips by applying bold red lipstick.

Borrow some of the Khaleesi’s Style

Emilia Clarke, the Khaleesi from Game of Thrones looked gorgeous at the W Magazine’s annual pre-Golden Globes party. She paired her “Khaleesi blonde” hair with a statement plum colored lipstick and little eye makeup. This made the green color of her eyes pop.

To recreate this look, apply a matte plum lipstick while keeping the rest of the makeup minimal. Recreating these looks adds a lot of exciting freshness to your style.
